5Cacia: The Story

The men of Acacia Fraternity are proud to announce our sixth annual philanthropy event 5Cacia: A 5K For Pancreatic Cancer. 5Cacia formed when brotherhood met hard times. In 2008 Pancreatic Cancer stole the life of Active Brother Justin Baldinger's Grandmother. Justin and the rest of the Ohio chapter decided to raise awareness about the deadly cancer.

Acacia as a whole united as one in order to fullfil the wishes of their brother. Although ACACIA has a national philanthropy, the Ohio chapter decided on dedicating their time, effort, and money toward raising awareness of pancreatic cancer through a 5k run.

After five successful events the fraternity is gunning hard this year to raise $20,000 for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
